2-2 Mounting the Motherboard in the Chassis
For proper installation, please follow the instructions below to mount the mother-
board into the chassis before installing the CPU on the motherboard.
Tools needed
Phillips screwdriver•
#6 32 x5mm pan head screw as shown below.•
Installation Procedures
Locate the mounting holes on the motherboard. Refer to the layout below for •
the locations of the mounting holes. (The holes marked with arrows are the
mounting holes on this motherboard.)
Locate the mounting holes on the chassis.•
Align the mounting holes on the motherboard against the mounting holes on •
the chassis.
Insert a #6 pan head screw into a pair of mounting holes on the motherboard

and on the chassis.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the screw. Make sure that the standoffs on
•
the chassis click in or are screwed in tightly.
