Adaptec SCSI Card 39320D Users Guide for Floppy Disks (OEM)
Installing the Driver When Installing
Windows NT
The adpu320.sys driver is not embedded on the Windows NT 4.0
installation disk and must be added during Windows NT 4.0
installation.
Note: Adaptec recommends that you install Windows NT 4.0
onto a hard disk with a primary active FAT 16 partition, 2 GB
or smaller. Once Windows NT 4.0 is installed and configured
properly, you can use Microsoft's Disk Administrator to
convert the drive to NTFS. This minimizes the number of
variables involved during the installation process and
therefore reduces the possibility of problems.
Note: In order to add or remove SCSI controllers from
Windows NT you must be logged on as Adminstrator.
