C) Connector
The power SMB (I
2
C) connector is
used to monitor the status of the
power supply, fan and system tem-
perature. See the table on the right
for pin defi nitions.

Alarm Reset
If three power supplies are installed,
the system can notify you when any of
the three power modules fail. Connect
JAR to a micro-switch to enable you
to turn off the alarm that is activated
when a power module fails. See the
table on the right for pin defi nitions.

Overheat LED/Fan Fail (JOH1)
The JOH1 header is used to connect
an LED to provide warning of chassis
overheating. This LED will blink to in-
dicate a fan failure. Refer to the table
on right for pin defi nitions.
