Memory Support
The X7DB8+ supports up to 64 GB of FBD (Fully Buffered DIMMs) ECC DDR2-
667/533. Populating with pairs of memory modules that are of the same size and
same type will result in interleaved memory.
Note: Due to OS limitations, some operating systems may not show more than 4
GB of memory. To optimize memory support, follow the table below when install-
ing memory.
To Install: Insert module vertically and press down until it snaps into place. Pay attention to the bottom
notches.
To Remove: Use your thumbs to gently push each release tab outward to free the DIMM from the
slot.
