Multi-Exit Discriminators
Clicking on the MULTI-EXIT DISCRIMINATORS tab opens the BGP MED CONFIGURATION
page (Figure 7-115). This page allows the user to configure the MED value for routes
learnt from BGP peers. Table 7-92 lists the parameters found on this page.

Parameter Description
MED ID Specifies the index for this table.
Remote AS Specifies the AS number from which the route update is received.
IP Address Prefix Specifies the IP address prefix for which the update is received.
IP Address Prefix Length Indicates the prefix length of the IP address.
Intermediate AS Represents the intermediate AS between the BGP peers.
Direction
Permits you to specify the incoming or the outgoing direction of the packets
using In and Out values.
