Memory Frequency
This feature forces a DDR3 to run at a frequency other than what the system has
detected. Select Force SPD (Serial Presence Detect) to force the memory to run
at a frequency based on the SPD Standard (Table). The available options are
Auto, Force DDR-800, Force DDR-1066, Force DDR-1333, and Force SPD.
Memory Mode
The options are Independent, Channel Mirror, and Lockstep.
Independent - All DIMMs are available to the operating system.
Channel Mirror - The motherboard maintains two identical copies of all data in
memory for redundancy.
Lockstep - The motherboard uses two areas of memory to run the same set of
operations in parallel.
Demand Scrubbing
A memory error-correction scheme that allows the processor to write correct
data back into the memory block from where it was read by the processor. The
options are Enabled and Disabled.
Patrol Scrubbing
A memory error-correction scheme that works in the background looking for and
correcting resident errors. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Channel Interleave
This feature allows the user to confi gure the Memory Interleave setting for an
onboard memory channel. The options are 1-way, 2-way, 3-way, 4-way, and
6-way.
Bank Interleave
This feature allows the user to confi gure the Memory Interleave setting for an
onboard memory bank. The options are 1-way, 2-way, and 4-way.
Throttling - Closed Loop
Throttling improves reliability and reduces power consumption in the proces-
sor via automatic voltage control during processor idle states. The options are
Disabled and Enabled.
