Clear User Password (Available only if User Password has been set)

This item allows you to clear a user password after it has been entered.

Password Check

Select Setup for the system to check the user's password before the user enter the

Setup Utility. Select Always for the system to check the user's password at system

bootup. The options are Setup and Always.

Boot Sector Virus Protection

When this feature is enabled, the AMI BIOS displays a warning when any program

(or virus) issues a Disk Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector of

the hard disk drive. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

Use this feature to conﬁ gure boot settings.

Boot Device Priority

This feature allows the user to specify the sequence of priority for the Boot Device.

The settings are 1st boot device, 2nd boot device, 3rd boot device, 4th boot device,

5th boot device and Disabled.
