Slot 1 Option ROM ~ Slot 6 Option ROM
Select Enabled to enable the Option ROM of a slot speci ed, which will allow the
user to boot the computer from a PCI device installed on the PCI slot. The options
are Disabled and Enabled.
LAN1 (i82537V) PXE/LAN2 (i82537L) PXE
Select Enabled to enable onboard LAN1/LAN2 PXE Option ROMs to boot the
computer using a network interface. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
LSI SAS 1068 Option ROM
Select Enabled to enable LSI SAS 1068 Option ROM to boot the computer using
a network interface. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Super IO Device Con guration
Onboard Floppy Controller
Select Enable to enable the onboard Floppy Controller. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
Floppy A
This feature allows the user to select the type of oppy drive connected to the sys-
tem as speci ed. The options are Disabled, 360KB 5 1/4", 1.2MB 5 1/4", 720KB 3
1/2", 1.44MB 3 1/2" and 2.88MB 3 1/2". The default setting for Floppy A is 1.44MB
3 1/2".
Serial Port1 Address/ Serial Port2 Address
This option speci es the base I/O port address and the Interrupt Request address
for Serial Port 1 or Serial Port 2. Select Disabled to prevent the serial port from
accessing system resources. When this option is set to Disabled, a serial port will
physically become unavailable. Select 3F8/IRQ4 to allow the serial port to use 3F8
as its I/O port address and IRQ 4 for the interrupt address. The options for Serial
Port1 are Disabled, 3F8/IRQ4, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3. The options for Serial Port2
are Disabled, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, and 2E8/IRQ3.
Serial Port 2 Mode
Use this feature to con gure Serial Port 2 mode. The options are Normal, IrDA
and ASK IR. IrDA (Infrared Data) is an industry standard for remote control de-
vices. ASK IR (Amplitude Shifted Keying Infrared) is a protocol compatible with
Sharp® branded PDAs and other infrared devices.
