Wake-Up Enable (JPUSB2)

Pins 1-2 Enabled (default)

USB Wake-Up
JPUSB2 jumper allows you to "wake
up" the system by pressing a key on the
USB keyboard or by clicking the USB
mouse of your system. These jumpers
are used in conjunction with the USB
Wake-Up function in the BIOS. See the
table on the right for jumper settings
and jumper connections. (the default
is Enabled)
Watch Dog Enable/Disable
JWD1 enables the Watch Dog function,
a system monitor that takes action
when a software application freezes
the system. Jumping pins 1-2 will have
WD reboot the system if a program
freezes. Jumping pins 2-3 will generate
a non-maskable interrupt for the
program that has frozen. See the table
on the right for jumper settings. Watch
Dog must also be enabled in BIOS.

Note: When Watch Dog is enabled, the user must write
their own application software to disable the Watch Dog
Timer.
BMC Jumper
JPB1 is used to enable or disable
theBMC (Baseboard Management
Control) Chip and the onboard IPMI
connection.This jumper is used
together with the IPMI settings in the
BIOS. The default position is on pins
1 and 2 to Enable BMC. See the table
on the right for jumper settings.
