1. Questions: How do I ash the rmware of an IPMI card such as a SIMLP-
B(+) card or a SIMLP-3(+) card?
Answer:
• 1. Log on to the web interface page of the IPMI card by typing the IP address
of the card.
• 2. Click on the maintenance button.
• 3. Browse to choose the correct le to ash the rmware.
• 4. Click on the "Update Firmware" button and proceed with rmware ashing.
2. Questions: How do I setup the IP address and MAC address for the AOC-
SIMLP-B(+)/SIMLP-3(+) Add-On card?
Answer:
• 1. Boot the system into DOS.
• 2. Run the utility-IPNMAC from DOS.
• 3. Follow the prompts to setup the IP Address and MAC address for the AOC-
SIMLP-B(+)/SIMLP-3(+).
