Heartbeat LED (marked #3 above),
located on the rear side of the AOC-
SIMLC(+) card, indicates the functionality
and activity of the add-on card. The blink-
ing of the Heartbeat LED indicates that
the AOC-SIMLC(+) is active. However,
when the Linux OS and the drivers are
being loaded after each AC power-on or
reset, the Heartbeat LED is off for about
a minute. Then, the Heartbeat LED will
be on again to indicate that the AOC-
SIMLC(+) is active. See the table on the
right for details.
