6-8 AddingaSavedStorageConguration
When you replace a controller, or when you want to duplicate an existing stor-
age conguration on a new controller,you can add a saved congurationto the
controller.
Caution: When you add a saved conguration to a replacement controller, be
sure that the number and size of the physical disks connected to the controller
areexactlythesameaswhenthecongurationwassaved.
Adding a Saved Conguration
Select a controller icon in the left panel of the 1. MegaRAID Storage Manager
window.
On the menu bar, select 2. Operations, Advanced Operations, Conguration,
AddSavedConguration. A Warning message appears.
Click 3. Yes.
WhentheOpendialogboxappears,selectthecongurationle,andclick4.
Open.
Viewthecongurationdetail,thenselect5. Apply.
Conrmthenewcongurationwhenprompted.6.
