4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
SKIN: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
INGESTION: If symptoms persist consult doctor. Do not induce vomiting.
INHALATION: Supply fresh air and be sure to call for a doctor. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for
transportation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product. Symptoms of poisoning may even occur
after several hours; therefore medical observation for at least 48 hours after the accident is recommended.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
GENERAL HAZARD: During heating or in case of fire poisonous gases are produced.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: CO2, extinguishing powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool and to knock down vapors which may
result from product decomposition.
FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, (MSHA/NIOSH
approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
SENSITIVE TO STATIC DISCHARGE: None known
SENSITIVITY TO IMPACT: None known
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Carbon Monoxide, carbon dioxide and unknown fumes.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
SMALL SPILL: Absorb liquid and place in sealed container for disposal. Vapors can travel to an ignition source.
LARGE SPILL: This material is a water pollutant and should be prevented from contaminating soil or from entering sewage and
drainage systems and bodies of water.
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Keep unprotected persons away.
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Mount respiratory protective device. Wear protective equipment.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
HANDLING: Open and handle receptacle with care.
STORAGE: Store in a cool place in original container and protect from sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: Ambient room temperature (70F/21C).
ELECTROSTATIC ACCUMULATION HAZARD: Protect against electrostatic charges.
