WhentheCrossFireisrunning,regularinspectionisrecommended,asfollows:
1.CheckthatRFandpowercablesareconnectedsecurelyandthatallscrewsaretight.Ifany
connectionsposeasafetyhazard,dealwiththemassoonaspossible.
2.Checkthegroundstatusofthedevice.
3.Measurethepowersupplyvoltageofthedevices.
4.ChecktheoperatingstatusandmainperformanceparametersofdevicesregularlythroughtheNMS
orOMT.
5.Checkwhetherallwarningmarksareintact.
Ifafaultoccursandthedevicecannotoperatenormally,returnthedevicetothefactoryforrepairorsendto
techniciansforsiterepair.

Troubleshooting
Thissectionlistsproblemsthatmayariseinengineeringapplicationsandsuggestsrelevantsolutions.
1.Theslavedevicecannotsynchronizewiththemasterdevice:
a)QuerythesoftwareversionusingtheOMT.Makesurethatthedeviceisrunningthecorrect
software.
b)ChecktheSFPmoduletoconfirmwhethertheSFPmodulehasbeendamaged.
c)Restartthedevice.Iftheproblempersists,thedevicemayhavebeendamaged.Theequipment
needstobereplaced.
2.RUdownlinkshowsanoutput-poweralarm:
a)ThegainoftheRUdownlinkisequalto(37-DLattenuationdB).ChecktheRUdownlink
basebandpower,andthenaddthedownlinkbasebandpowertotheRUdownlinkgain.Theresultshould
beclosetotheoutputpower.Ifthedeviationismorethan5dB,the PA modulemaybedamaged.
3.Over-temperaturealarm:
a)Thedevicesneedspacetodissipateheat.Ensurethedeviceisnotcoveredbyanything.Ifthe
deviceiscovered,thetemperaturewillrise.
