LOCATING BURNER – SUN13VSB Installation
WARNING: Never build shelf or enclose interior space under the Burner Cut-Out. The Side
Burner is Self-Rimming and is supported by the top counter. The bottom of Burner needs to be open to
allow for proper ventilation. ALLOW 6 INCH MINIMUM CLEARANCE FROM UNDERSIDE OF COUNTER
BURNER BACK TO INTERIOR ISLAND WALL – MUST ALLOW AIR FLOW AROUND BACK OF BURNER.
Single Side Burner Cut-Out
The Versa Single Side Burner is SELF-RIMMING, meaning the lip of burner rests on top of the counter edge
around the cut-out and is Free Hanging from counter top. The Burner will rest into the Cut-Out only 2-1/4”
Height which allows you to installed with large drawer unit below. The Port-Hole in back of Burner is used
when Burner is placed on Counter with flexible gas hose to be fed through to gas connection within. Be
sure to make all Gas Connections to back of Burner before placed into position. See pages 8 thru 10.

Enclosure below the burner, Island interior should be open.
