Installation manual for solar power sets
1. Introduction
Dear customer, we are very pleased that you have decided to purchase one of our solar power sets. The solar panel
convert solar light to electricity (Direct Current / DC), which will be stored in a battery (not included in delivery,
available on request). With such a system you are able to use your own electricity far away of any power socket,
for illumination, radio, mobile phones, etc. And as big advantage, totally noiseless, clean and environmentally
friendly. For alternating current (AC) devices, an inverter is necessary (just equipped in 230V solar power sets).
2. Safety instructions
Please read the following instructions carefully and start installation just after reading. Keep this manual in well
condition, for future look-up.
Comply with this manual as well as conditions and methods during installation and operation can not be cont-
rolled by the manufacturer. Local conditions and structural specications are not in our area of inuence; check
them in detail! Installation in a poor manner can be responsible for material damages and as a result of it to
human damages. Therefore, the manufacturer assumes no responsibility or liability for losses, damages and costs
arising from incorrect installation, incorrect execution of installation work, improper use or relating in any way.
If during installation problems occur that are not listed in these installation instructions, please rst consult us
to keep your warranty claims. Any costs, warranty-, exchange- and legitimate claims of any kind will be invalid
after unauthorized handling.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the product, of the components, of the technical data
or the installation instructions without prior notice.
3. Operation instructions
Please use only the cable which is included in delivery and pay attention to the correct polarity during connec-
tion.
Beside the solar panel, components are not designed for outdoor use and are not waterproof.
It is not allowed that the battery is faced to re, extreme heat, rain, humidity or extreme coldness. Battery ter-
minals must not be short-circuited. Charge the battery before rst use and before consumers are switched on.
Please use therefore the solar panel or a suitable, commercially available battery charger.
Please note the included mounting instructions of the charge controller. Until the maximum output current of
the charge controller, 12V consumers can be connected directly at the charge controller. 12V consumers with a
higher current or even 230V consumers must be connected to the battery.
