The solar panels are made of polycrystalline silicon cells. These are encapsulated
in a Fiber glass base with a polyester compound which build an extremely good light
conductor. These two materials are connected that they protect cells against
environmental conditions and also best to have certain flexible.
A special feature of the modules is that they are divided in two separate cell fields.
While one half is in shadow, the other half delivers still the full energy.
The F-lite modules are equipped with a weather resistant junction box and a
3 m long cable.
The integrated protective diode inside the junction box prevents the back flow of
current from the battery when it is dark.
