Always orient the cut edge of each aluminum
prole toward the top of the roof.
Measure and cut all aluminum Prole Bases, Prole Caps and Prole Cap Covers with an
angle grinder to the correct length, if required.

Here’s how to measure the correct length
for Prole pieces:
A – Roof overhang (2" min, 8" max)
B – PLUS Length of roof run
EQUALS – Total length of each Prole Base,
Prole Cap and Prole Cap Cover
Use an angle grinder to cut each prole component to
the exact length required.
• Make sure your cuts are straight (exactly perpendicular
to the prole).
• Smooth rough edges with a metal le as needed.
Measure twice, cut once!
