heatercanbeoperatedataHIGHsettingwithaninputof
34,000BTU/HrorataLOWsettingof25,000BTU/HR.
Theseheatersrequirea24VACpowersource.
Thefactthat
theseheatersarehardwiredtoathree‐way
switchmakestheS34‐TSHwellsuitedforcommercial
installations.Therearenobatteriesorremote‐control
devicestobemisplaced .Therobustlightedswitchmakesit
easytoseewhethertheheaterisON.Switchisprewired
specificallyfortheModel
S34‐TSH.Switchismadefor24
VAConly.

S34‐TSHshouldalwaysbestartedupandoperatedontheHighmodeforthefirst5minutestoallow
theheatertowarmup.StartinguptheheaterontheLOWmodebeforetheheateriswarmedupmaycausethe
heatertoshutdownprematurely.Tocorrectthissituation,presstheOFFfollowedbyHIGH.

heatershaveasparkignitionandelectronic
flamesafetycontrol.ThepilotisonlyONwhiletheheater
isoperating.Iftheflamesafetysensorfailstosenseflame
atthepilot,theheaterwillshutdownandlockout.This
mayhappenduetolowga spressureoragusty
wind.To
restarttheheater,firstsettheswitchtoOFFbefore
restartingtheheater.
Althoughtheseheatersaredesignedforoutdoor
installationanduse,itisimportantthatswitches,
transformersorotheroperatingcontrolsbeprotected
fromtheweather.
TheTSHSwitchwithlightisintendedfor24VAConly.
Twoinputwireshookuptothe24VACTransformer.
Polaritymustbeobservedifyouareconnectingtwoor
moreheaters.Threeoutputwiresconnecttotheheater
forcommon,lowfireandhighfire.The bluelightonthe
switchshinescontinuouslywhenevertheheaterison.
