• Clean solar panels will absorb more sunlight. Keep the solar panel clean by gently wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.
• Never use chemicals or abrasive materials to clean the unit.
• Store in a dry, warm, indoor location during inclement weather and freezing temperatures.
• Do not allow the unit to freeze. Freezing temperatures will damage the internal components.
• Turn the unit off before storing it. Removing the battery during storage is recommended.
• Only use compatible rechargeable batteries. Incompatible batteries may damage the unit and void the warranty.
This product uses a rechargeable battery. When the battery can no longer be used, it should be removed from the unit and recycled.
The battery must not be incinerated or composted. Recycle the battery in accordance with local laws and regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Ensure the power button is turned to the 'ON' position.
• Make sure the battery is installed correctly, observe polarity and ensure contact is good.
• This product is designed to only illuminate at night. Make sure the light sensor is not receiving too much
ambient light.
• If the light only works for a short time, attempt a 'Boost Charge':
- Turn the power 'ON' and let it charge in full, direct sunlight for at least 8 hours.
- Turn the power 'OFF' at night to conserve the battery.
- Repeat this process for 2-3 days. If the unit still does not work, the battery may need replacing.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
FILLING & WATERING: Lightweight potting soil is recommended for filling the planter. Take care when
watering, this unit does not have drainage holes.
MOVING: Always lift the unit from the bottom when moving it, never drag or slide it as doing so can damage
the unit and/or surfaces. Slowly and gently set the unit down to prevent breakage.
CLEANING:
BIRD BATH: Clean the bird bath 1-2 time per week. Empty the old water, wash the bowl with clean water and a
soft cloth. Thoroughly rinse with running water. Fill the bowl with clean water.
PEDESTAL: Remove loose dirt, cobwebs, and debris with a very soft-bristled brush, like a paintbrush. Gently
rinse the unit using water only and allow it to air-dry. Dry the solar panel with a soft, lint-free cloth.
EXPOSURE: Over time, sunlight and weather elements will degrade and change the color of this product.
Manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by exposure to weather elements.
WINTER CARE & STORAGE: Turn the solar panel o before storing the unit. Store in a warm, dry, indoor
location. Cover to prevent dust build-up.
