We recommend that you fully charge the battery before using the device for the first time. ► Connect the car charger cable to the navigation device and to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter.

Impaired GPS reception If GPS reception is impaired, navigation will be interrupted. The navigation software remains active. This makes sense if you frequently navigate to a particular destination. 5.1 Saving a destination 1. Enter a destination as described in "Specifying a new destination" on page 19. Do not tap the Start Navigation button!. 2. Tap on Options > Save Destination. - OR – 1.

This display remains unchanged until you have passed the motorway junction. It is necessary to enter a password into both devices in the process. This password is stored on both devices, so that further entry is not necessary by subsequent connections.
