WARNING
This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualied service agency in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction. If the information
in these instructions is not followed exactly, a re, explosion or production of carbon monoxide may result
causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life. The qualied service agency is responsible for the
proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper and complete until the operation of the converted
appliance is checked as specied in the manufacturer’s instructions supplier with the kit.

7. Perform Natural Gas Leak Test
(I) Make 2-3 oz. of leak test solution (one part liquid
dishwashing detergent and three parts water).
(II) Apply several drops of solution where natural gas
xture attaches to natural gas supply pipping system
connection. If NO bubbles appear, the connections
are secure. If bubbles appear, the connection has a
leak, disconnect, reconnect, perform another leak test.
If you continue to see bubbles after several attempts,
the part is defective and should be replaced.

“The gas supply must be turned off at the propane gas supply cylinder when this appliance
is not In use.” Minimum clearance from sides & top of unit to adjacent combustible
construction is 64 inches.
CAUTION: The gas pressure regulator provided with the appliance must be used. This
regulator is set for an outlet pressure of 11 inches water column

LIGHTING:
2.Read instructions before lighting.
3.Press and hold electronic igniter button.
4.Turn the burner control to the low position, press and hold when
the burner lights, release the electronic igniter button.
5.Continue to depress the burner control knob for 30 seconds and
then release. If the flame goes out, repeat the procedure.
6. Adjust the flame to the desired height with the burner control knob.
7.If the burner will not light with the electronic igniter, hold a lit long
match or lit long butane lighter to the ignition area of the burner and
continue with step 4.
TURNING OFF
1. Turn the burner control knob clockwise
to the off position.
2. Turn the gas off at the source (propane
cylinder valve).
WARNING: If the burner does not light within 10 seconds, turn the valve off and wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate
before repeating the procedure.
