6. SelectPrompt for new password for all keys in packageifyouwant
tocreateanewpasswordforthekeypackage.
Ifyouselectthisoption,youwillbepromptedtoprovidethenewpassword when
youclickOKontheExport Keysdialogbox.Youwillsubsequentlybeprompted
forthispasswordwhen youtrytoimporta
keyfromthis package.Inaddition,all
keysimportedfromthispackagewillusethisnew passwordratherthanthe
passwordoriginallyassociatedwitheachkey.
Ifyouclearthisoption,thispackagewillusethesamepasswordasthefirstse le ct ed
key(w hichappearsinthePassword for All Keys in Package area),andyou
must
providethispasswordwhenyou trytoimportakeyfrom thispackage.You
mustalsoprovidethispasswordwhenyousubse quent lychange,delete,orexport
anykeyimportedfromthispackage.
7. IntheSave in this directory textbox,typethefullpathforthefile.
8. ClickOK.
IfyouselectedthePrompt for new password for all keys in package
check
box,type thenewpassword(10–16characte rs )intheNew Passwordand
Confirm Passwordtext boxes,typeahintforthatpassword(0–32characters)in
thePassword Hinttextbox.
Afilewiththespecifiedpack ag e nameandtheextension.keyiscreatedinthe
specifiedlocation.
Stophere.

Onceyouhavecreated akeypackage,youcanopenthatpackagean d specifywhich
keystoimportintoVTL.Onceyouimportakey,youcanusethat keytoencryptor
decryptdata.
Toimportakey:
1. Inthenavigationtree,right‐clicktheservernameandclickKey Management.
2. Click
Import.
3. IntheFind Packagetextbox,typethefullpathtothekeypac k ag e.
4. ClickView.
5. TypethepasswordforaccessingthekeypackageinthePasswordtextbox.
Note:Afteryouprovidethepassword,makesurethatthedisplayedDecryption
Hintmatchesthedecryptionhi n tspecifiedwhenthekeypackage was
created.Ifthe
hintisnotcorrect,clickPasswordandprovidethecorrectpasswordforaccessing
