Grass Trimmer

WARNING! Do not connect to power supply until
assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result in
accidental starting and possible serious personal injury.
Handle Assembly
1. Clamp the auxiliary handle with the telescoping pole using
the 4 screws, as shown (Fig. 21).
Fitting the Safety Guard
mWARNING! The guard must be properly installed. The
guard provides the operator and other bystanders with some
protection from thrown objects.
1. Place the safety guard on the trimmer cutting head and
align the mounting groove (Fig. 22).
2. Firmly press the safety guard into place and secure it to
the trimmer head with the two screws provided (Figs. 23).
NOTE: Never use the tool unless the safety guard is properly
tted.
3. Make sure to remove the cutter guard cover from the line
cutter before using (Fig. 24).
Fitting the Grass Trimmer
1. Insert the telescoping pole into the grass trimmer cutting
head. Press down on the quick-release button to lock it
into position (Fig. 25).
