TRANSPORTING YOUR PADDLEBOARD
Avoid direct sunlight when possible. If you must expose your paddleboard to direct sunlight during transport it is best to keep the
bottom facing upward. Exposing dry deck pad to direct sunlight may cause damage.
Paddleboard bags are available at local retailers for protection during transportation. However, do not store your paddleboard in the
bag for extended periods of time.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your paddleboard is designed to require minimal maintenance and a little timely care will ensure a lifetime of enjoyment.
•Wheneveryouwashyourpaddleboardusemildsoapandwater.Rinseyourpaddleboardandhardwarethoroughlywithfresh
water after paddling in salt, brackish or polluted water.
•Drainanywateraccumulatedbetweenthedeckandhull.Thedrainplugislocatedattherearofthedeck.
•Usecarewhenbeachingyourpaddleboardtoprotectthefin.Avoiddraggingacrossasphalt,concreteorsharprockstoprevent
excessive wear and abrasion to the hull.
•Occasionaloperationalcheckupswillkeepyourpaddleboardintip-topcondition.Giveyourhullanddeckathoroughreview
annually. Light nicks, scratches and scrapes are part of the paddling experiences but deep scratches should be repaired.
•Never leave board exposed to direct sunlight when out of the water. Always keep in the shade when not in the water. If
you must expose your paddleboard to direct sunlight during transport or temporary storage it is best to keep the bottom facing
upward. Never leave deck pad facing the sun when dry. Exposing deck pad to direct sunlight may cause damage.
•Removeandstorefin(s)aftereachusetopreventdamage.
•Toaidinopeningandclosingthedeckplate,themanufacturerofthedeckplaterecommendscleaningthedeckplatewithhot
soapy water and lubricating the threads with Teflon grease or Vaseline.
Overheating your paddleboard is not covered under manufacturers warranty.
