At Sumner Manufacturing, our welding customers are very important to us. One of our primary goals as a
manufacturer is to provide our customers with high quality, competitively priced tools. Contractors are not only
our customers, we learn from contractors in the eld what products are needed to make their jobs easier. These
ideas help us to design and build new and better products. In essence, our customers are part of our Research
& Development department, and without their input, we would be unable to continually offer great new
products.
Another important part of our philosophy at Sumner is our commitment to safety. All Sumner employees are
dedicated to the safety of the individuals who use our products. We understand that price is always a concern

Founded in 1965, our operations began to meet the need for good welding tools and
lifting equipment to make pipe installations easier and safer. Early success in the
business led the way for us to continually meet the needs of a wide variety of
contractors, and we continue to provide a range of equipment options
that promote safety and efciency on the jobsite.
