INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS This appliance is meant for free-standing installation; it should not be built-in. Do not put heavy items on top of the unit. Do not store or install the appliance outdoors. This appliance is designed for the storage beer. Do not use it to store medicine or other medical products. Moving and Installing Your Appliance • When transporting, keep the unit vertical as much as possible.

Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the receptacle. Repair or replace immediately all power cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged. Storing Items in the Unit Beer can be stored in the eight chrome baskets. Defrosting the Unit The SCFR70BC operates frost-free so there is normally no need to defrost the beer cooler manually. If you find that frost is starting to build up inside the unit, set the temperature slightly higher. Normal Phenomena You may notice the following phenomena happening with your appliance. They are normal and should not be a cause for alarm. • You may hear a sound like water flowing.
Vacation Time • • Short vacations: Leave the appliance operating during vacations of less than three weeks. Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all items and turn off the appliance. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
