Installation Instructions for LWSTACKKIT
This stacking kit can be used to combine the LD244 and LW2427 into one vertical unit
for space efficiency and includes a board for ironing and other purposes.
1. Identify and gather all parts and pieces.
2. Place the stacking kit on top of the washer. The washer must go on the bottom for the purpose
of stability. The stacking kit must be lined up exactly with all sides of the washer.
3. With a pen or marker, mark each hole where your screws will go. (D in Pic.1)
4. Remove the stacking kit and drill where the holes were marked using a 1/8 drill bit.
5. Add the G1/G2 pieces from behind the washer/stacking kit and have them resting on the back of
the machine.
6. Affix the stacking kit as stated in step 2 and tighten the screws into the holes.
7. Place the I piece on the back of the stacking kit, with the hooks attaching to the washer, and
tighten with the screw and washer through the slit. (B and E in Pic. 10)
8. Remove the board from the stacking kit.
9. Making sure the dryer’s legs are extended ½ inch from the unit, place the dryer on top of the
stacking kit, the legs of the dryer must fit into the slots.
10. Place H1 and H2 pieces into the front slots to prevent the front legs from moving while the unit is
in use.
11. Remove the screws from the bottom of the dryer. The F piece goes in front of the G piece
(between the dryer and G pieces) the C screw goes in from the back and through the G and F
pieces. (Pic 14)
NOTES:
• The maximum weight the board supports is 35lbs.
• Do not let children sit on the board.
• Do not stack the washer/dryer on top of another object.
