Warranty
Our 25 year limited residential warranty for Catalina Collection means that for twenty-five years, from the date of
purchase, your floor will be free from manufacturing defects and will not wear through when installed and
maintained according to instructions supplied with each carton. This guarantee applies only to the original end user
and proof of purchase is required for all claims. The guarantee is for replacement or refund of the material only, no
labor. Claims for wear must show a minimum dime size area. High-heeled shoes, furniture and chairs without
protective pads can damage the floor and are not covered by this warranty.
Our 10 year light commercial use means: Use in environments (Which DO NOT have heavy commercial traffic)
including art galleries, boutiques, gift shops, hotel rooms, professional office (i.e. accountants, lawyers, physicians,
dentists and optometrists), photography studios, styling salons.
Radiant Heat
Due to the speed of sudden temperature changes, which has the potential to negatively affect this flooring, it is not
recommended to install over any electrical radiant heating system. Installation over electrical radiant heating
systems will not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Below instructions are for radiant heating systems
using water.
Do not use this product over electric coil heater. Ensure the radiant heat surface temperature never exceeds 81°F.
Before installing over newly constructed radiant heat systems, operate
the system at maximum capacity to force any residual moisture from the cementitious topping of the radiant heat
system. The maximum moisture content of the screed is 1.5% (CM method). Shut down the floor heating at least 48
hours prior to installation. Make sure that the temperature in the room is at least 60°F during installation. It is
recommended that the radiant heat be applied in a gradual manner after installing the floor. Refer to the radiant
heat system’s manufacturer recommendations for additional guidance.
