Thestoveandthefluesystemshouldbegivenacompletecleaningattheendoftheheatingseason.
BurnPot:Removetheburnpotassembly,cleanitthoroughly,andre‐installit(refertoExplodedParts
DiagramintherearofthismanualandtheDailyMaintenance
section);thiswillrequirenewgasketfor
theburnpot.Besuretotightenthesetscrewswhenyoureplacethem,butdonotover‐tighten.
Combustion(Exhaust)BlowerCleaning:Althoughthecombustionblowerandblowerhousingwere
designedtominimizeashbuild‐up,somefly‐ashwillstillaccumulatetherethroughouttheburning
season.Theamountandtypeofashwilldependonthetypeofpelletsandventingsystem,but
generallythisaccumulationwillbemild.If,whencleaningthecombustionblower,alarge
accumulationoffly‐ashisfound,cleaningtheblowerandhousingshouldbeperformedmonthlyor
bimonthlytopreventthisexcessbuildup.
Instructions
Beforebeginningthecombustionblowercleaningprocedure,becertaintheunitisunpluggedand
thoroughlycooleddown.
Disconnecttheventingsystemfromthecombustionblowerjustenoughthatyouwillbeableto
removetheblowerfromthestove.
Removetheleftsideaccesspanel,usinga5/16”wrench.
Removethebackpaneloftheunit,usinga5/16”wrench.
Unplugthetwopowerleadstothecombustionblower,usingthequickconnectplugs.

”self‐drillingscrewswhichholdthecombustionblowertotheblowertube.
Liftthecombustionblowerupandoutofthestove.Thegasketwhichsealstheblowertotheblower
tubeisfragile,sotakeextracarewhenremovingtheblower.Evenwhenbeingcareful,though,itis
easytotearthisfragilegasket,andsinceanairtightsealiscrucialhere,youshouldreplacethisgasket
(Part#‐PU‐CBMG)everytimethecombustionblowerisremoved.Removethegasketwithaputty
knife,andinstallthenewgasketbyapplyingadhesivetotheblowerandinstallingthenewgasket
(instructionsandadhesiveareprovidedwiththegasket).
Withthecombustionblowerremoved,useautilityvacuumtoremoveanyashaccumulationinthe
combustionblowertubeonthestove.
Usingasoftpaintbrush,carefullyremoveanyashaccumulationfromtheinsideofthecombustion
blower,andfromtheblowerfanblade.
Inspectthecombustionblowermotorfordustaccumulationandcarefullyremoveit,ensuringthatall
aircoolingholesintothemotorareopenandfreeofdustdeposits.
Installtheblowerinthereverseorderasdescribedabove.Remembertochecktheconditionofthe
combustionblowergasket,andtoreconnectthetwowireswhichconnecttheblowertothestove’s
controlboard.
