Beforebeginninganycomponentreplacement,becertaintheunitisunpluggedandthoroughly
cooleddown.Also,makesurethehopperisemptybeforeattemptingtoremoveorreplacethe
topaugermotorassembly.
Removethebackpanelofthe
unit,usinga

”wrench.
Beforelooseninganyauger
motorbolts,detachthepower
leadsfromtheaugermotor.
Locatetheappropriateauger
motorassemblyattherearof
thestove,loosenthe5/16”
squareheadsetboltthatis
positionedbetweentheauger
motorandtheaugerblock
bearing.Thisbolt
tightensdown
ontheflatsideofthegearshaft,
andlocksthegearshaftand
augershafttogether.
Oncetheboltisloosened,the
assemblywillslidefromthe
lockingcollarandaugershaft.
Toreplacethetopauger,all
pelletfuelmustberemoved
fromthe
hopperaswellasfromthetopaugerassembly.
Oncethisisdone,thefour½”boltsthatholdinthe
bearingcanberemoved,andthecompleteauger
assemblymayberemovedfromthestove.
Theaugerbearingsareasealedunitanddonot
requirelubrication.
Removethe¾”shaftcollar fromthe auger
shaft/bearingassembly.
Loosenthetwo(2)1/8”setscrewsontheendofthe
augerbearingwitha1/8”Allenwrench,whichwill
disconnectthebearingfromtheshaft(the bearing
assemblyandaugerassemblycanbereplacedby
reversingthis
procedure;pullthebearingflush
againstthe¾”collarbeforetighteningthetwo1/8”
setscrews).
Besuretoinstallanewaugerbearinggasketwhenreplacinganaugerbearing.
