SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONS
IN THE EVENT OF A COOKTOP GREASE FIRE,
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
Smother ames with a close-tting lid, baking sheet
or other metal tray; then turn off the gas burner. Be
careful to prevent burns. If the ames do not go out
immediately, evacuate and call the re department.
Do not use water on grease res.
Never pick up a aming pan, you may be burned.
USE AN EXTINGUISHER ONLY IF:
•
You know you have a class ABC extinguisher and
you already know how to operate it.
•
The re is small and contained in the area where it
started.
•
The re department is being called.
•
You can ght the re with your back to an exit
(NFPA re safety tips).
