SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONS
IN THE EVENT OF A COOKTOP GREASE FIRE,
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
Smother ames with a close-tting lid, baking sheet
or other metal tray; then turn off the gas burner. Be
careful to prevent burns. If the ames do not go out
immediately, evacuate and call the re department.
Do not use water on grease res.
Never pick up a aming pan, you may be burned.
USE AN EXTINGUISHER ONLY IF:
You know you have a class ABC extinguisher and
you already know how to operate it.
The re is small and contained in the area where it
started.
The re department is being called.
You can ght the re with your back to an exit
(NFPA re safety tips).
