Assembly 1 Attaching the wire clips JJ Insert the Wire Clip (JJ) into the pre-drilled holes in the Right Surround Panel (E), pushing them in by hand. Assembly (continued) 10 Securing the base Insert the Cam Locks (DD) over the Cam Bolt (CC). Tighten with a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the cam locks and secure the base. DD CC 11Attaching the left and right side partitions Align the pre-installed hardware on the edges of the Left and Right side partitions (J and K) with the pre-drilled holes. Secure the Left and Right Side Partitions to the front assembly by tightening the fasteners with a Phillips screwdriver as shown.

CC G 13 Attaching the top panel Align the pre-installed hardware on the edges of the main assembly with the pre-drilled holes in the Top Panel (G). Secure the Top Panel to the front assembly by tightening the fasteners with a Phillips screwdriver as shown.

Assembly (continued) 17 Assembling the log set EC ED EG Route the wires of the Log Set Left (EC) and the Log Set Right (ED) down the back of the Ember Bed (EG) and into the receiving tabs to secure in place. Refer to the lower diagram. Gently plug the cords from both the Log Set Left (EC) and the Log Set Right (ED) into the ports as shown. Ensure the cords are plugged in straight.
Assembly (continued) 20 Connecting the fireplace wiring Connect Key Button Connection Wire to heater. Insert the Ember Bed Connection Wire into the heater. Key Button Connection Wire Ember Bed Connection Wire 21 Placing the fireplace background Locate the Electric Fireplace Back Panel (M). Only slightly bend the wallpaper and fit it into the back of the fireplace. M Note that this back panel is reversible and can be placed with either side facing the fireplace insert for a customizable look.
Assembly (continued) 23 Installing the tipping restraint hardware When the Tipping Restraint Hardware (II) is properly installed, it can provide protection against unexpected tipping of the Unit due to small tremors, bumps or climbing. Each Tipping Restraint Hardware (II) includes one Unit Anchor, one Wall Anchor, one Anchor Tether, and four Anchor Screws. Use these to complete the following steps for a proper installation. Locate a secure wall stud behind the unit closest to the left side.

Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace. Press the remote control buttons with an even motion and gentle pressure. Repeatedly pressing buttons in rapid succession may cause the transmitter to malfunction. The remote is too far from the heater.
