Installation Options
NOTE: For best results use square edge decking and manually
route sides that will be used to attach hidden fasteners
.
Option 1:
Face Screw
1. Install start clips against riser on each step.
2. Install first board.
Follow steps on page 15.
3. Install second board. Follow steps on page 15.
4. Secure with screws from top of second board into
stringer boards.
Option 2:
Using 2 in x 4 in (5.1 cm x 10.2 cm) Wood Support Blocks
1. Install start clips against riser on each stair tread.
2. Install first board.
Follow steps on page 15.
3. Attach 2 in x 4 in (5.1 cm x 10.2 cm) blocks between
stringers.
4. Pre-drill holes up through blocks.
5. Install second board.
Follow steps on page 15.
6. Secure with screws from bottom through blocks and into
stair treads.
