13. Insert bolts (AA) through preassembled mounting

blocks on corner brace (S) to attach it to the top

corner extension (Q). HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.

14. Insert wood dowels (CC) into the pre-drilled holes

on the top corner extension and carefully slide the

assembly from step 12 into place at the back of the

assembled mantel. Secure with bolts (AA) through

the preassembled mounting blocks and into the

pre-drilled holes on the mantel.

HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.

Assembly is now complete. Verify all connections

are secure and, with the help of another person,

move the assembly to the desired location.

12. Note: Be sure to read all safety information prior to

installing the insert (T). Insert (T) should be installed

in the replace as close to the nal position as

possible; two people are recommended for this step.

Lift insert (T) carefully into the back of the unit and

center in the insert opening. Do not drag insert (T)

across base (A), as it may scratch the unit. Use bolts

(AA) to attach the preassembled plastic block on

securing block (R) to base (A). Rest insert (T) against

securing block (R) to secure it to the back of the unit.
