How to Load Sound Programs (Preset Banks)

Required Equipment: Usb cable, Win/Mac computer

Computer Program able to send and receive System Exclusive files Sys Ex C→

Examples: MIDI-Ox for Pc or Sysex Librarian for Mac (or any MIDI Sequencer)

Procedure

1. Download the file (from our Site) for instance: Sledge Factory Presets Bank 1;

2. Connect Sledge to the computer through USB cable and switch it ON;

3. Open the selected Computer Program and the related MIDI player function;

4. Verify the Midi connection between the Computer and Sledge;

5. Load the file on the Program, example: Sledge Factory Presets Bank 1;

6. Press Play or Start on the Program, to transfer the file to Sledge;

7. Wait for the data transfer to be completed;

8. Switch Sledge OFF and then ON;

Now the presets bank “Sledge Factory Presets Bank 1” is installed

How to save Sound Programs (Preset Banks)

Procedure

Connect Sledge to the computer with a standard USB cable and switch it ON;

Open the selected program and the related MIDI Player function;

Verify the Midi connection between the Computer and Sledge;

Set the Computer Program for “Data Recording”

Press the MIDI button on the panel of Sledge

Press 6 times the button ↓ :the display will show SEND CURR. SOUND

Turn the encoder to select SEND ALL SOUND and press the button of the Encoder

Sledge will now transmits thru the USB connection all Programs Sound data.

When the transmission is completed, store the created file on your Computer

Now you have saved your sounds bank.

Note: this functions can be also performed using the Sledge Sound Mapper software
