Toenablethebandpassfilterfeature
requiresknowinga“secret”buttonpush
method.Butit’snotmuchofasecret,as
yousimplypressandholdthedownmix
monobuttonfortwosecondstoenablethe
function.Fromthatpointforward,when-
everthestereotomonodownmixfunction
isenabledthebandpassfilterwillalsobe
enabled.Toindicatethatthebandpassfil-
terisenabled,theLEDassociatedwiththe
downmixmonobuttonwillflashwhenever
itsassociatedfunctionisenabled.Todis-
ablethebandpassfunction,pressandhold
thedownmixmonobuttonfortwoseconds.
ThechangewillbeindicatedbytheLED,
whichwillnowlightsteadilywhenever
thestereotomonodownmixfunctionis
enabled.
MonitorOutputFunctions
Fourbuttonsandonerotarycontrolare
associatedwiththemonitoroutputfunc-
tions.Thebuttonscontroloperationofthe
speakersystemselection,referencelevel,
muteall,anddim.Therotarylevelcontrol
isusedtomanuallysetthemonitoroutput
level.
SpeakerSystems
Onebuttonallowsselectionbetween
speakersystemAandspeakersystemB.
TherearetwoLEDsassociatedwiththe
function,providingavisualdisplayofthe
activesystem.It’simportanttoremem-
berthattheperformanceofthespeaker
systemsisinstallationspecific.Usingthe
Model75’sconfigurationchoices,the
monitoroutputchannelsassociatedwith
speakersystemAandspeakersystemB
areselected.
NotethattheModel75ControlConsole
canbeconfiguredtodisableeitherofthe
monitoroutputs.Ifthemonitorbuttonis
pressedandnothinghappens,thismust
bethecase!
ReferenceLevel
Thereferencelevelbutton,labeledRef
Level,setsthemonitoroutputleveltoa
presetvalue.Thislevelisnormallyset
byatechnician,usingasoundpressure
level(SPL)meter,atthetimeofsystem
installation.TheLEDassociatedwiththe
referencelevelfunctionlightswhenever
thefunctionisactive.Wheneverreference
levelmodeisactivetherotarylevelcontrol
isdisabled.
ThereferencelevelLEDalsoservesasa
calibrationaid.Ifthereferencelevelmode
isnotactiveandtherotarylevelcontrol
issetatpreciselythesamelevelasthat
storedforthereferencevalue,therefer-
encelevelLEDwillflash.
MuteAll
Themuteallfunctionishighlycomplicated
tooperate—not!Pressingthemuteallbut-
toncausesthemonitoroutputstomute.
Themuteallbuttonisalwayssetto“latch”
thefunctiononandoff.TheLEDassociat-
edwiththemuteallbuttonwilllightwhen-
evermuteallisactive.Notethatifmuteall
isenabledviatheremotemuteallfunction,
themuteallLEDwillflash.
Dim
Thedimfunctionisquiteself-explanatory.
Pressthedimbuttontoenablethedim
mode,whichreducesthemonitoroutput
levelbyapresetamount.Thedimbutton
isalwayssetto“latch”thefunctiononand
off.Dimactivityappliesnomatterwhether
themonitoroutputlevelisbeingsetbythe
rotarycontrolorthereferencebutton.The
dimlevelcanbeconfiguredfor10,15,20,
or25dB,sooneofthosevalueswillapply
