NOTE: It is normal for the motor to feel warm to the touch after continuous operation. This fan
features a thermostat that will automatically shut off, should it overheat for any reason. If this
happens, immediately unplug the fan from the outlet. Wait approximately 15 minutes before plugging
back in.
After Each Use
Be sure the fan speed setting is in the OFF position.
Maintenance
WARNING
Unplug from power source before cleaning fan.
Maintain your fan. It is recommended that the general condition of any fan be examined before it is
used. Keep your fan in good repair by adopting a program of conscientious repair and maintenance in
accordance with the recommended procedures found in this manual.
1. Depending on the usage and severity, a regularly scheduled inspection should be established.
2. Check for unusual noises when running.
3. Periodically inspect and tighten all bolts, screws, and set screw.
Cleaning
1. Use a soft, damp cloth (water only) for cleaning, then wipe with dry cloth.
2. Don’t not use cleaners that can harm paints or plastics (i.e., bleach or ammonia).
3. Do not bend blades.
Troubleshooting
Use the table below to troubleshoot problems before contacting service personnel or your local
dealer. If the problem continues after troubleshooting, call your local dealer for assistance.
