BEOOGD GEBRUIK De STREX Anti Blafband is een snelle, gemakkelijke en humane manier om overmatig geblaf bij honden te verminderen. Dit apparaat leert je hond zijn geblaf matigen. Er zijn geen andere toepassingen voor dit product. Gebruik de Anti Blafband alleen zoals beschreven in deze handleiding. Elk ander gebruik wordt als oneigenlijk beschouwd en kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel of materiële schade. STREX is niet aansprakelijk voor schade of letsel als gevolg van onjuist of onzorgvuldig gebruik.
WAARSCHUWING: BATTERIJ De Anti Blafband wordt geleverd met de benodigde 6V batterij. Wees voorzichtig bij het uitpakken en/of installeren van deze batterij. ● Houd nieuwe en gebruikte batterijen uit de buurt van kinderen. ● Een ingeslikte batterij kan binnen twee uur interne chemische brandwonden veroorzaken en tot de dood leiden. ● Als je denkt dat batterijen zijn ingeslikt of in enig deel van het lichaam zijn geplaatst, dien je onmiddellijk medische hulp in te roepen.

HOE WERKT HET? De Anti Blafband stopt het blaffen door het geluid en de trillingen die afkomstig zijn van de Anti Blaf apparaateenheid geleidelijk te verhogen. Deze functie wordt aangestuurd door een slimmeblafmicroprocessor, die effectief is in het onderscheiden van het geblaf van je hond van het geblaf van andere honden en omgevingsgeluiden. Het wordt automatisch geactiveerd om op intelligente en systematische wijze piepjes en trillingen te produceren na elke blaf.
WAARSCHUWING: Doe de halsband niet om je hond zonder eerst het apparaat te testen. GEBRUIKERSINSTRUCTIES STAP 1: De Batterij Installeren De STREX Anti Blafband begint automatisch te werken zodra je de meegeleverde 6V batterij hebt geïnstalleerd. De halsband wordt automatisch ingesteld op het 4e gevoeligheidsniveau. Indien nodig kunt je op de knop “+” of “-” drukken om het gevoeligheidsniveau aan te passen.
STAP 2: De Sensoren Monteren De Anti Blafband wordt geleverd met 2 sets plastic sensoren en een mini moersleutel. De korte sensoren zijn voor kortharige honden, de langere sensoren zijn voor langharige honden. Je kunt de sensoren verwijderen en vastzetten met de minisleutel of met je hand. STAP 3: De Halsband Handmatig Testen Voor Gebruik Testen doe je door in de richting van het kleine gaatje te blazen waar de microfoon zich bevindt. Dit simuleert het blaffen van een hond.
STAP 4: De Gevoeligheid Aanpassen Er zijn twee KNOPPEN “+” en “-” die worden gebruikt om het gevoeligheidsniveau aan te passen. Standaard staat het gevoeligheidsniveau elke keer dat je de batterij plaatst op het 4e niveau. Door de knoppen aan te passen, wordt de gevoeligheid geleidelijk verhoogd of afgezwakt. Hoe hoger het gevoeligheidsniveau, hoe gemakkelijker het is om de halsband te activeren.
WAARSCHUWINGEN: ● Dit product is geen vervanging voor verantwoord toezicht op je hond. ● Zorg ervoor dat je, voordat je de halsband omdoet, de trilsensoren op de trillingselektroden vastschroeft! Gebruik de mini moersleutel om ze vast/los te draaien. ● Laat je hond niet op deze halsband kauwen. Je moet ook proberen om krassen of klauwen aan de behuizing te minimaliseren. ● Dit apparaat is gemaakt van plastic en elektronische componenten die niet verteerbaar zijn.
PROBLEEMOPLOSSINGEN Waarom blijft de halsband van mijn hond afgaan zonder duidelijke reden? ● Het gevoeligheidsniveau is waarschijnlijk gewoon te hoog ingesteld. Verlaag het gevoeligheidsniveau door op de min “-” knop te drukken en pas aan totdat je het gewenste effect hebt bereikt. ● Controleer of de kraag goed vastzit. Onthoud dat je de halsband zo strak moet trekken dat er maar één vinger tussen de sensoren en de nek van de hond past.
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES LEES de gebruikersinstructies aandachtig en let vooral op de veiligheidsinstructies. Als je de veiligheidsinstructies en informatie over het juiste gebruik in deze handleiding niet opvolgt, aanvaarden wij geen aansprakelijkheid voor eventueel daaruit voortvloeiend persoonlijk letsel of schade aan eigendommen. In dergelijke gevallen vervalt de garantie. Neem ook de waarschuwingen of veiligheidsvoorschriften in de afzonderlijke hoofdstukken van deze handleiding in acht.
Algemene Apparaat Veiligheid ● Gebruik de Anti Blafband niet voor een ander doel dan waarvoor het bedoeld is (zie het hoofdstuk “BEOOGD GEBRUIK”). ● De Anti Blafband kan buiten worden gebruikt, hij is regenbestendig. Laat je hond niet zwemmen terwijl hij de halsband draagt. ● Ga voorzichtig met het apparaat om. Schokken, stoten of een val, zelfs van geringe hoogte, kunnen het apparaat beschadigen. ● Plaats de Anti Blafband niet onder mechanische belasting.
Hitte & Koeling ● De Anti Blafband is ontworpen om het beste te werken bij normale omgevingstemperaturen tussen 0° en 35°C en te worden bewaard bij temperaturen tussen 0° en 45°C. De Anti Blafband kan beschadigd raken en de levensduur van de batterij kan verkorten als het apparaat buiten deze temperatuur bereiken wordt bewaard of gebruikt. Stel je apparaat niet bloot aan dramatische veranderingen in temperatuur. Bewaar je apparaat niet in een hete auto of gedurende langere tijd in direct zonlicht.
● Onderzoek je apparaat en zorg ervoor dat het batterijvak goed is vastgemaakt, b.v. dat de schroef of een ander mechanisch bevestigingsmiddel is vastgezet. ● Vervang de batterij alleen door een batterij van hetzelfde formaat en hetzelfde type. 18 ● Gebruik de batterij binnen de aanbevolen gebruiksperiode. ● Houd de batterij uit de buurt van kinderen, baby’s of dieren. REINIGING ● Was de nek van je hond, de elektroden en trilsensoren wekelijks met een vochtige doek.
OPSLAG & TRANSPORT ● We raden aan om de Anti Blafband schoon te maken voordat je het apparaat voor lange tijd opbergt. ● Bewaar de Anti Blafband op een stofvrije plaats die niet wordt blootgesteld aan zonlicht en vochtigheid. ● Bewaar de Anti Blafband niet bij extreem hoge of extreem lage temperaturen. Dit kan het apparaat beschadigen. ● Bewaar het apparaat buiten bereik van kleine kinderen. ● Verwijder de batterij uit de Anti Blafband voordat je deze voor lange tijd opbergt.
Verwijdering van de Batterij De Anti Blafband bevat een batterij die niet met het huishoudelijk afval mag weggegooid worden. De batterij moet worden gerecycled volgens de plaatselijke voorschriften. Verwijder de batterij uit de Anti blafband voordat je deze weggooit. Je bent als eindverbruiker volgens de KCA-voorschriften (Klein chemisch afval) wettelijk verplicht alle lege batterijen in te leveren. Verwijdering van het Verpakkingsmateriaal Zorg ervoor dat plastic zakken, verpakkingen enz.
GARANTIE & AANSPRAKELIJKHEID STREX garandeert dat dit product gedurende één jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum vrij zal zijn van materiaal- en fabricagefouten. STREX zal, naar eigen goeddunken, dit product of enig onderdeel van het product dat defect blijkt te zijn tijdens de garantieperiode vervangen of repareren. Vervanging vindt plaats door een nieuw of gereviseerd product of onderdeel.

There are no other uses for this product. Only use the Anti Barking Collar as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and may result in personal injury or material damage. STREX is not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper or careless use.

HOW DOES IT WORK? The Anti Bark Collar stops barking by progressively increasing the sound and vibration coming from the Anti Barking device unit. This feature is controlled by a smart-bark microprocessor, which is effective at distinguishing your dog’s barks from other dogs’ barks and environmental noises. It is automatically triggered to produce beeping and vibrations after each bark intelligently and systematically.
WARNING: Do not put the collar on your dog without first testing the device. USER INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Installing the Battery The STREX Anti Barking Collar starts working automatically once you have installed the included 6V battery. The collar will be automatically set to the 4th sensitivity level. If needed, you can press the “+” or “-“button to adjust the sensitivity level. Steps to follow: ● Loosen the strap a little bit from the device so that you can remove the battery cover. ● Place the battery.
STEP 2: Mounting the Probes De Anti Blafband wordt geleverd met 2 sets plastic sensoren en een mini moersleutel. De korte sensoren zijn voor kortharige honden, de langere sensoren zijn voor langharige honden. You can remove and fix the probes with the mini spanner or your hand. STEP 3: Manually Testing the Collar Before Use Testing is done by blowing towards the small hole where the microphone is located. This simulates a dog’s bark.
STEP 4: Adjusting the Sensitivity There are two BUTTONS “+” and “-“used to adjust the sensitivity level. As a default, the sensitivity level will be on the 4th level every time you install the battery. By adjusting the buttons, the sensitivity will gradually be enhanced or weakened. The higher the sensitivity level is, the easier it is to trigger the collar. STEP 5: Putting the Collar on Your Dog Put the collar around your dog’s neck and adjust the length of the collar using the slide buckle arrangement.
CAUTION NOTES: ● This product is not a substitute for responsible supervision of your dog. ● Before putting the collar on your dog, make sure you screw the vibration probes on the vibration electrodes! Use the mini spanner to screw/unscrew them. ● Do not allow your dog to chew this collar. You should also attempt to minimize scratching or clawing at the casing. ● This device is made of plastic and electronic components that are not digestible.
TROUBLESHOOTING Why does my dog’s collar just keep going off for no apparent reason? ● The sensitivity level is probably just set too high. Lower the sensitivity level by pressing the minus “-” button and adjust until you reach the desired effect. ● Check that the collar is on tight. Remember, tighten the collar so that you can only fit one finger inbetween the probes and the dog’s neck.

General Device Safety ● Do not use the Anti Barking Collar for any other purpose other than its intended use (see the chapter “INTENDED USE”). ● The Anti Barking Collar can be used outdoors, it is rain resistant. Do not let your dog swim while he is wearing the collar. ● Handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts, or a fall even from a low height can damage the device. ● Do not place the device under mechanical stress. ● The Anti Barking Collar needs to be properly and securely mounted.
Heat & Cooling ● The Anti Barking Collar is designed to work best in normal ambient temperatures between 0°C and 35°C and to be stored at temperatures between 0° and 45°C. The Anti Barking Collar may be damaged and the battery life may be shortened if the device is stored or used outside this temperature range. Do not subject your device to dramatic changes in temperature. Do not store your device in a hot car or direct sunlight for extended periods.
● Ensure the battery is installed correctly concerning polarity (+ and -). ● Examine the device and make sure the battery compartment is correctly closed and secured. ● Only replace the battery with the same size and the same type of battery. ● Use the battery within the recommended usage period. ● Keep the battery away from children, babies, or animals. CLEANING ● Wash your dog’s neck, electrodes, and vibration probes weekly with a damp cloth.
STORAGE & TRANSPORT ● We advise cleaning the Anti Barking Collar before long-time storage. ● Store the device in a place not exposed to sunlight & humidity, which is dust-free. ● Do not store the Anti Barking Collar in extremely high or extremely low temperatures. This can damage the device. ● Store the device beyond the reach of small children. ● Remove the battery from the Anti Barking Collar before long-time storage.
Battery Disposal This device contains a battery that cannot be disposed of with normal household waste. The battery should be recycled following your local regulations. Remove the battery from the Anti Barking Collar before disposal. As an end consumer, you are legally obliged to hand in all empty batteries following KCA regulations (small chemical waste). Packing Material Disposal Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of.
WARRANTY & LIABILITY STREX guarantees that for one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. STREX, at its discretion, will replace or repair this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished product or component. If the product is no longer available, a replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value.
