PRODUCT ONDERDELEN ① Scherm 3 1/2 cijfer, 7 segmenten, 15mm hoog LCD-scherm. ② Draaischakelaar Deze schakelaar wordt gebruikt om functies en gewenste bereiken te selecteren en om de Digitale Multimeter aan/uit te zetten. ③ Houd knop Wanneer deze knop wordt ingedrukt, zal het scherm de laatste meting behouden en het “ “-symbool zal op het LCD-scherm verschijnen totdat je er opnieuw op drukt. ④ “10A”- aansluiting Insteekconnector voor het rode (positieve) meetsnoer voor 10A metingen.
GEBRUIK TIP: Nadat de test of meting is voltooid, zet je de draaischakelaar in de UIT-stand om de batterij te sparen DE DIGITALE MULTIMETER IN- OF UITSCHAKELEN ● Het inschakelen gebeurt door de draaischakelaar naar de betreffende functie te draaien. ● Uitschakelen doe je door de draaischakelaar in de OFF-stand te zetten DC-SPANNINGSMETING 1. Stel de draaischakelaar in op het juiste DC-gelijkspanningsbereik.
AC-SPANNINGSMETING 1. Stel de draaischakelaar in op het juiste AC-spanningsbereik. Als de te meten spanning niet vooraf bekend is, zet je de draaischakelaar op de hoogste bereikpositie en verlaag je deze totdat een bevredigende resolutie is verkregen. 2. Sluit het rode testsnoer aan op de “VΩmA“-aansluiting en het zwarte testsnoer op de “COM”aansluiting. 3. Sluit de uiteinden van de sondes aan op de belasting, bron of het te meten circuit. 4. Lees de weergegeven waarde af. WEERSTANDSMETING 1.
DIODE TEST 1. Koppel de meetsnoeren los van eventuele meetcircuits. 2. Zet de draaischakelaar op de “hFE” positie. 3. Bepaal of de te testen transistor NPN of PNP is en zoek de emitter-, basis- en collectorkabels. Steek de draden van de transistor in de juiste gaten van de hFE-aansluiting op het voorpaneel. 4. Lees de geschatte hFE-waarde af bij de testconditie van basisstroom 10uA en Vce 3V.
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES WAARSCHUWING: LEES de gebruikersinstructies aandachtig en let vooral op de veiligheidsinstructies. ALGEMENE APPARAAT VEILIGHEID ● Gebruik de Digitale Multimeter niet voor een ander doel dan waarvoor het bedoeld is (zie het hoofdstuk “BEOOGD GEBRUIK”). ● De Digitale Multimeter is bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis, maar kan bij droog weer ook buiten gebruikt worden (het apparaat is niet waterdicht). Het wordt aanbevolen om het apparaat bij gebruik buitenshuis gedurende langere tijd niet in direct zonlicht te plaatsen. ● Ga voorzichtig met het apparaat om.
VEILIGHEID TIJDENS HET GEBRUIK VAN DE DIGITALE MULTIMETER ● Controleer het apparaat voor elk gebruik op beschadigingen. Gebruik de Digitale Multimeter nooit als er tekenen van beschadiging zijn. ● Als er rook, vuur of een vreemde geur uit je apparaat komt, moet je het onmiddellijk uitschakelen. ● Als de Digitale Multimeter in de buurt van ruis genererende apparatuur wordt gebruikt, moet je er rekening mee houden dat het scherm onstabiel kan worden of grote fouten kan aangeven.
● Houd er bij tv-reparatiewerkzaamheden of bij het uitvoeren van metingen aan stroomschakelcircuits rekening mee dat spanningspulsen met hoge amplitude op de testpunten de multimeter kunnen beschadigen. ● Vervang de batterij zodra de batterij-indicator verschijnt. Als de batterij bijna leeg is, kan de Digitale Multimeter valse metingen produceren die kunnen leiden tot elektrische schokken en persoonlijk letsel.
BATTERIJ VEILIGHEID ● Plaats de Digitale Multimeter niet in de buurt van vuur of in direct zonlicht. De opwarming van het apparaat kan extra verwarming, breuk of ontsteking van de batterij veroorzaken. ● Als je een oplaadbare batterij gebruikt, ga dan niet door met het opladen van de batterij als ze niet wordt opgeladen binnen de opgegeven oplaadtijd. Hierdoor kan de batterij heet worden, scheuren of ontbranden. ● Probeer de batterij niet op te laden als de batterij stoffen afgeeft.
ONDERHOUD & SERVICE ● De Digital Multimeter heeft geen onderhoud nodig. ● Je mag de Digitale Multimeter niet reconstrueren, zelf repareren of demonteren. ● Controleer regelmatig op beschadigingen en ernstige slijtage. WAARSCHUWING: ● Probeer de Digitale Multimeter niet te openen voor onderhoud. Het verwijderen van de behuizing of een onjuiste hermontage kan elektrische schokken, schade, kortsluitingen of brand veroorzaken. ● Als je om welke reden dan ook de behuizing opent, vervalt de garantie.

PRODUCT PARTS ① Display 3 1/2 digit, 7 segments, 15mm high LCD. ② Rotary switch This switch is used to select functions and desired ranges as well as to turn on/off the Digital Multimeter. ③ Hold button When this button is pushed, the display will keep the last reading and the “ “symbol will appear on the LCD until pushing it again. ④ “10A”- terminal Plug-in connector for the red (positive) test lead for 10A measurements. ⑤ “COM“- aansluiting Plug-in connector for the black (negative) test lead.
USAGE TIP: After the test or measurement is finished, set the rotary switch at the OFF position to save battery power. TURNING THE DIGITAL MULTIMETER ON OR OFF ● Turning on is done by turning the rotary switch to the appropriate function. ● Turning off is done by turning the rotary switch to the OFF-position DC VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT 1. Set the rotary switch to the proper dc voltage range.
AC VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT 1. 1. Set the rotary switch to the proper ac voltage range. If the voltage to be measured is not known beforehand, set the rotary switch at the highest range position and then reduce it until a satisfactory resolution is obtained. 2. Connect the red test lead to the “VΩmA“-terminal and the black test lead to the “COM”-terminal. 3. Connect the tips of the probes to the load, source, or the circuit being measured. 4. Read the displayed value. RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT 1.
TRANSISTOR TEST 1. Disconnect the test leads from any measurement circuits. 2. Set the rotary switch at the “hFE” position. 3. Determine whether the transistor under testing is NPN or PNP and locate the emitter, base and collector leads. Insert the leads of the transistor into the proper holes of the hFE socket on the front panel. 4. Read the approximate hFE value at the test condition of base current 10uA and Vce 3V. CONTINUITY CHECK A continuity test is available to check the open/short of a circuit.

GENERAL DEVICE SAFETY ● Do not use the Digital Multimeter for any other purpose other than its intended use (see the chapter “INTENDED USE”). ● The Digital Multimeter is meant for indoor use, but can also be used outdoors in dry weather conditions (the device is not waterproof). It is recommended to keep the device out of direct sunlight for extended periods when used outdoors. ● Handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts, or a fall even from a low height can damage the device.
SAFETY DURING THE USE OF THE DIGITAL MULTIMETER ● Check the device before each use for damage. Never use the Digital Multimeter if there are signs of damage. ● If there’s a smoke, fire, or a strange odor coming from your device, you should turn it off immediately. ● If the Digital Multimeter is used near noise generating equipment, be aware that the display may become unstable or indicate large errors. ● Do not use the Digital Multimeter or the test leads if they look damaged.
● Replace the battery as soon as the battery indicator appears. With a low battery, the Digital Multimeter might produce false readings that can lead to electric shock and personal injury. ● Do not operate the Digital Multimeter with the case (or part of the case) removed. ● Before attempting to insert transistors for testing, always be sure that test leads have been disconnected from any measurement circuits.
BATTERY SAFETY ● Do not place the Digital Multimeter near a fire, or in direct sunlight. The heating of the device can cause additional heating, breaking, or ignition of the battery. ● In case you are using a rechargeable battery, do not continue charging the battery if it does not recharge within the specified charging time. Doing so may cause the battery to become hot, rupture, or ignite. ● Do not attempt to recharge the battery if the battery emits any substances.
MAINTENANCE & SERVICE ● The Digital Multimeter does not require any maintenance. ● You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the Digital Multimeter. ● Check regularly for damage and severe wear. WARNINGS: ● Do not attempt to open the Digital Multimeter for maintenance. Removing the housing or improper reassembly may cause electric shocks, damage, short circuit, or fire. ● If for any reason you open the housing, the warranty will become null and void.
DISPOSAL & RECYCLING Device Disposal This product complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE). The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the appliance indicates that, at the end of its life, the product must be disposed of separately from normal household waste and taken to a separate collection center for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment or returned to the seller at the time a new similar device is purchased.
