Alcove Installation
The drop-in bathtub is placed within a three-wall enclosure in an alcove
installation. This is a common choice for bathrooms with limited space.
The bathtub is typically framed with a deck or platform, and the deck is tiled or
finished to match the bathroom décor.
Undermount Installation
The bathtub is integrated into the cut-out of the deck constructed around it.
This cut-out is then covered with tile or another material, concealing the
bathtub's rim. As a result, the bathtub's rim is NOT visible or exposed, giving the
bathroom design a sleek and seamless look.
