Create support frames below the 2x4’s to ensure a rigid structure has been created. Depending on the
structure and composition of the kitchen cabinet, an alternative reinforcement can be made on the back
of the interior kitchen cabinet.
STEP 5
Next, cut a piece of plywood on which the farmhouse sink will be sitting on. Make sure to measure and cut
any drain holes for plumbing connections.

Next, take your 2x4’s and install them on the left and right side of the interior of the kitchen cabinet. Make
sure to use screws that will not drill completely through to the opposite side of the cabinet as this could
cause aesthetic and structural damage.
