1. Check for damages to the iTX plastic (If any iTX is damaged, return to Strategic for repair)
a. Cracked seam at sealing edge.
b. Bent strap contact pins.
c. Pry marks on iTX edge.
d. Damage to side
2. Cleaning an iTX
a. Install the battery in the iTX so that water will not leak into the battery compartment.
b. Scrub the iTX with a soft bristle brush under running water (using anti-bacterial soap) and dry
with paper towel.
c. Clean surface of the iTX with isopropyl alcohol for further sanitary protection.
Electrical Tests
Testing an iTX
1. All iTXs may be tested by using an ACU.
2. Testing iTXs with an ACU
a. Put the battery into the iTX under test. (See Install the battery on Page 15)
b. Find the iTX code (See Figure 9 : The bottom of an iTX; Page 35)
c. Enter Function Mode by using a LOCK.
d. Step through Function Mode until "B= Test Mode" appears.
e. Push ‘B’ button. The ACU is now in test mode. (See Figure 8: Test Mode Display Page 31).
f. Watch for the iTX code to appear in the right lower half of the display. This indicates the iTX
is transmitting.
