Step1: Push tips of the shears into the two holes. Step 2: Cut the plastic.
Step 3: Twist shears to pry the iTX apart. Step 4: Remove iTX from baseplate
L Note: You may choose to skip the next step and leave the battery in the iTX, if you so desire.
4. Remove the battery: Using the plastic turn key, rotate the battery in a clockwise direction from
the ‘C’ to the ‘O’. When the alignment arrow on the battery lines up with the arrow beside the ‘O’
on the iTX the battery is open and can be removed. Use the end of the turn key to gently lift one
edge of the battery up. Remove the battery from the iTX by pulling it out of the battery well.
Replace the battery cover on the battery. Place the battery in the plastic container in the carry /
storage case. It is important that batteries be stored correctly to maintain battery life. DO
NOT STORE BATTERIES TOGETHER WITHOUT THE COVER IN PLACE.
