9. Attach the iTX to the baseplate. The rails on the side of the iTX slide into the slots on the
baseplate. Note: The ends are not interchangeable - one is wider than the other. Push the iTX
down onto the baseplate. You should hear two “clicks” , one at each end, as the pieces lock
together. The iTX is now securely locked together and cannot be opened without cutting the
posts. You will then require another baseplate.

L Note: Be sure that the little posts at both ends are showing through the holes. The
end of the iTX with the tamper pins may need an extra squeeze to ensure they
have pierced the strap.

10. Reset the iTX. Use the LOCK to clear and activate the tamper circuitry in the iTX. Hold the
top of the LOCK close to the corner opposite the logo on the top of the iTX. Press the LOCK’s
iTX button and watch for the red light to turn on (see Figure 4, page 11). If the circuitry has
been properly reset, the ACU will prompt “Everything ok, Calling in now” and will immediately
start to call the Central Computer.
11. Installation complete: When “Call Successful” is displayed, installation is complete.
