Saving the
Tray File
Traysaresavedasobjtffiles.Youcansaveatraybeforeitisreadyfor
production,andopenitatanothertimetocontinuepreparingit.Whenyou
sendthetraytotheConnexprinter,itisfirstsaved.Ifthetraywas
previouslysaved,itsobjtffileisoverwrittenatthistime.
To save the tray file:

FromtheFilemenu,selectSave TrayorSave Tray As.

Printing the
Tray File
Whenatrayisreadytobeprinted,itissenttoJobManager,whereitis
placedintheprintqueue.Whenthejobreachestheheadofthequeue,Job
Managerpre‐processesthetrayfiletocreateslices, andfeedsthemtothe
3‐Dprinter.
To send the tray to the print queue:
1. FromtheFilemenu,selectBuild Tray.
or—
Click .
• Ifprintingthetrayrequirestwomodelmaterials(DigitalMaterial
mode),theJobSummarydialogboxopens.
