To save an assembly:
1. Selecttheassembly,(eitheronthebuildtrayorinthetrayhierarchy
pane).
2. FromtheObjectmenu,select
Export as OBJDF File...
3. IntheSaveAsdialogbox,choosealocation,namethefile,andclick
Save.
To separate assemblies into individual objects (stl files):
1. Selectthe assembly(eitheronthebuildtrayorinthetrayhierarchy
pane).
2. ClicktheUngroupicon .
or—
FromtheObjectmenu,select
Ungroup.
Inthetrayhierarchypane,theelementsnowappearasseparateobjects.

Using a Grid to
Position
Objects
Displayingagridontheimageofthebuildtraycanbeusefulwhen
positioningobjects.Youcanmakeuseofthisfeaturebyclickingthegrid
toolbariconsorbyselectingmenuoptions.
Youcanreviewandconfiguregridsettings—andapplythem—fromthe
Optionsdialogbox.
To use the Options dialog box:
1. FromtheToolsmenu,selectOptions,anddisplaytheGridtab.

Tools>Snaptogrid Whenmovingtheobject,italignswiththe
nearestgridline.
Enablesyoutochangethegridorigin
