May cause eye irritation. May cause slight skin irritation. Prolonged skin contact may cause
dermatitis. Vapors or mists may cause irritation to the eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory tract.
High concentrations above the worker exposure limits may cause central nervous system
depression (e.g. dizziness, weakness, nausea, headaches, drowsiness and stupor). Small
amounts of liquid aspirated into the lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal.
Besides being an aspiration hazard, ingestion may cause gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g.
irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea) and central nervous system depression. Repeated
overexposure to petroleum naphtha can cause nervous system damage.
Preexisting eye, skin, and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by exposure to this product.
FIRST AID:
EYE CONTACT: Rinse with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and
easy to do. Continue rinsing. If irritation persists, call a doctor.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, call a doctor.
INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Immediately call a doctor or poison control center.
INHALATION: Move to fresh air. If breathing problems develop, call a doctor.
