IMPORTANT Please read these instructions carefully and in conjunction with the appropriate Installation and User instructions. Care must be taken when handling to avoid injury or damage to the stove. They will be needed when maintenance or servicing is required.
General Information 1. General Packing List The Wall Mounting Kit should be fitted and installed in accordance with these instructions. 1.1 These instructions are supplementary to, and must be read in conjunction with the instructions supplied with the appliance. Read both thoroughly before installation.
General Information Non-Combustible Materials 2.2 All appliances will require some clearance between them and any non-combustible materials to allow for either: — Installation, servicing or accessing controls. — Convection in order for the appliance to function properly. Recommended: Minimum clearances for installation/servicing/convection is: Bottom - 100mm Sides - 50mm Top - 100mm NOTE: If the non-combustible surface is less than 200mm thick additional clearances may be required.
Installation Instructions 2a. Standard Plinth 1. Pre-Installation Each installation is unique to the property so it is not possible to give details to suit every setting. The installation must comply with Building Regulations† and be made using "best practice" construction methods‡. 2a.1 Lift the plinth front clear of the 2 locating slots to remove, see Diagram 2.
Installation Instructions 2a.4 Secure the appliance to the plinth using the 2 M8 screws and washers previously removed, see Diagram 5. 2a.7 5 Locate the Cast Panel to the 2 fixing slots to fit the Plinth Front, see Diagram 8. NOTE: It may be necessary to open the appliance door to avoid damage. 8 2a.5 Place the 2 x M6x120 studs in the holes previously occupied by the levelling feet. Loosely fix 2 of the washers and nuts provided to each stud, see Diagram 6.
Installation Instructions 2b.3 Secure the Plinth Brackets to the underside of the appliance with the 2 x M6 Screws, Washers, & Nuts, see Diagram 11. 11 2b.5 Fix the appliance to the plinth using the 2 M8 screws and washers previously removed, see Diagram 13. 13 Nut Washer Screw 2b.4 Lift the appliance onto the plinth. Ensure the 2 side plinth braces engage with the spacers on the inside of the appliance. The Plinth Brackets should locate behind the plinth's front lip, see Diagram 12. 12 2b.
Installation Instructions 2b.7 Fasten the Cast Panel to the plinth using the 4 M6 screws and washers previously removed, see Diagram 17. NOTE: Fix through the upper slots on the brackets, and the lower slots of the plinth, see Diagram 16. 16 3. Securing the appliance to the wall 3.1 Position the wall mounting bracket in the required location. 3.2 Mark the hole positions on the wall using the bracket as a template. Ensure that the upper edge of the bracket is horizontal and the arrow is pointing up.
Installation Instructions 3.5 Using a 15mm Socket Wrench secure the 5 supplied masonry bolts in the marked positions, see Diagrams 20 & 21. Apply a light amount of pressure when fastening to the wall. 20 3.6 The bolts effective length must be a minimum of 40mm. If this is not achievable with the bolts supplied, longer masonry bolts must be used. Important: Apply a maximum tightening torque of 40Nm to all bolts. 21 ø8mm 15mm 40mm 75mm 3.
Installation Instructions 3.10 If installing a top exit appliance, replace the Blanking Plate. If installing a rear exit appliance, fit the rear flue adapter. Fasten with the 4 washers and nuts previously removed. 3.13 26 Remove the upper rear Firebricks, see Diagram 26. *Woodburning Brick set shown 24 3.14 To complete the fitting of the Back Panel the upper rear firebricks must be removed. To do this: 3.11 With the bricks removed, using the Back Bracket as a template drill 2 x Ø8.
Installation Instructions 3.16 Refit the Baffle in reverse order. 3.19 WARNING: This appliance is heavy and should be handled with care. Two people must be used to lift this appliance. NOTE: It is possible to remove the door and remaining firebricks to ease installation, see the Installation Instructions supplied with the appliance. 3.17 29 Clamp in place using the 2 bolts on the side of the wall bracket, see Diagram 31. NOTE: Do not over tighten the bolts.
