D-522 is a multimedia hard drive that allows you to enjoy the best of your videos, photos and favorite music on your TV in 1080p resolution. Thanks to its function USB 2.0 HOST, you can read easily files from your USB key, external hard drive, SD or MMC.
INTRODUCTION Your D-522 is an external hard drive with a multimedia function making possible to look at your pictures and videos on your TV in high definition, or to listen your music. OPERATING - Connected in USB to the computer, you can copy the files on your hard disk to the hard disk of D-522. - When disconnected from the computer, connect the D-522 to your TV to visualize your multimedia files in high definition. CONNECT THE D-522 TO THE COMPUTER 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Connect the power supply adapter to the DC IN socket. Put the switch behind the product to “ON”. Connect the USB cable with the PC or MAC. The “Standby” LED lights on BLUE color. Take a look on “My computer”, the STOREX device will appears with an additional letter or for MAC users it will automatically mount on the desktop. 6. Just drag and drop or “copy/paste” all your files into the disk and enjoy watching.

Connect the D-522 to the television with the provided HDMI cable (depending on your configuration). 3. Connect the power supply adapter behind the D-522. 4. PLAYING FILES 1. The first page (HOME) shows 4 mains icons, which 4 of them can be accessed from the remote control (VIDEO, MUSIC, PHOTO and FILE). Select one of the four modes using directional keys in the middle of the remote control and press "ENTER". To use the remote control please refer to previous remote control details. Main Page 2. HOW TO READ ON A DEVICE 1. Insert the memory card or the USB device (please refer to the chapter "unit detail"). 2. Select one of the four modes using directional keys in the middle of the remote control and press "ENTER". To use the remote control please refer to previous remote control details. MAIN PAGE 3. Select the device (External hard disk, USB key or memory card). Use directional keys to select the device then press "ENTER" to confirm your selection. 4.

SHORTCUT BAR When you press on the remote control, while playing a file, there is a shortcut bar that appears on the screen to make easy access for some functions. According to the mode you are using (Video, Music, or Pictures) the shortcut bar shows different icons. SHORTCUT BAR FOR MOVIE MODE : 1 : Change audio track. 2 : Select the subtitle track. 3 : Select the encoding method (subtitle). 4 : Modify the subtitle color. 5 : Modify the subtitle size. Activate/Deactivate the subtitle function.
SHORTCUT BAR FOR PICTURE MODE : 1 : Get back to previous page. 2 : Play/Pause slideshow. 3 : Select the rotation, move or zoom on the picture (image 1). 4 : Makes appear on the right side of the screen a picture selection list in "miniature" view (image 2). 5 : Select the transition effect between pictures. 6 : Modify the display time picture. 7 : Select repetition mode (Repeat one, Repeat all, Random…).
SETTINGS In this page you can set all the settings included the language. 1. Press the "SETUP" button in the remote control to access the "SETTINGS" page or select "SETUP" on the main page. 2. Press buttons to select the setting and press "ENTER". In this page you can set the language. In this page you can set the resolution. HINT: The 576i/576p resolution may be not appear on the setup screen. Depending on your configuration.
TERMS OF WARRANTY The WARRANTY proposed by STOREX is 1 year for the D-522 and 3 months for its accessories (remote control, AV cables, power supply…).
